Metropolitan State University of Denver’s online newsroom, RED, has wrapped up its summer series “Denver after Dark,” which looked at fun nocturnal activities in and around the Mile High City.
As summer starts to wind down, here’s a few fun ideas to make the most of the season – and the city – after dark:
- Sidestep the sweat, sunscreen and people by taking a full-moon hike Friday.
- Take advantage of Colorado dark-sky spots for the best stargazing.
- Find a winery in a state full of craft beer.
- View the best places to enjoy a drag show or burlesque performance.
- Catch a movie at one of Denver’s many movie screenings, indoors and outdoors.
